Phillips 66 Midstream Logistics & Engineering Philanthropy Team announced funding of $4,500 to the Lowe Family Young Scholars Program.

This funding will go to support approximately 12 students to attend STEM Summer Camps. Students benefit from the camps not only to gain new skills for themselves but also to provide experiences that will help each student identify college degrees and careers. We are glad to continue providing camp opportunities for our students. In 2021, Ivan, attended a camp on the Fusion 360 (3D modeling/CAD) software. He was able to improve his “overall skills in designing and developing structures by a significant amount.” This student has a great mind for engineering! At the conclusion of the camps, all students practice their public presentation skills by presenting what they learned during the camp to their peers, their families, and mentors.

The LFYS Program is excited to be able to provide this service to the students through the generosity and philanthropic work of the Phillips 66 Midstream Logistics & Engineering Philanthropy Team.
